New Indoor Equestrian Centre

We are eagerly awaiting the day when our new indoor facilities are built and in use, up until that point please share our excitement for what the future holds...

Breaking News...As of Monday 26th July The steel etc. for the new indoor equestrian centre will be arriving & construction will begin
During this time the safety of our clients, staff and visiting contractors is paramount to us. We apologise for any disruption to normal riding sessions during this time.

As of Monday we will have a lot of steel and concrete products brought on site and so There will be disruption to our activities at certain times of day - Please see below for more details. We may need to have temporary measures in place to keep everyone safe, please see below for how you will be affected. Unfortunately we may occasionally only have about an hours notice so please be flexible and patient during this time. Your cooperation with the details below is very much appreciated and we thank you in advance for that.

To all clients:
The riding school will be closed on certain hours or days

Any riding sessions may need to be moved - we will try our best to contact you to arrange this

If you haven’t heard from us about your lesson / parking etc. please telephone and/or look on the website to confirm when/where you should be when you arrive, please do this before you set off and we do apologise if you are cancelled at this short notice, we ourselves may have deliveries at short notice and disruption shouldn’t be for long and it will be worth it!!

Riding lessons/hacks may start and finish near the car parking area or another part of our 45 acre site, lessons may also be changed to hacks if you agree

When you arrive for your riding session please take notice of any temporary signs and notices especially regarding parking

If you cannot park in the car park, we may open fields for parking if they are dry enough or may ask you to park on the track at the top or bottom or to use the lay-by just outside the front gate, in these instances we will text you and put a sign up at the end of the drive- It will be rare that you will have to do this but please bear with us.

Any disruption will likely be on weekdays and the type of disruption may change from hour to hour as the work on the building progresses.

there will be heavy plant machinery and wagons and on site you must Give Way to these heavy machines as they will sink if they go off the track - Please may we ask everyone to give priority to these vehicles as they need to be onsite for the shortest possible time to avoid too much disruption.

stay away from the construction areas whilst this work is going on

Everyone’s help in this and patience is much appreciated - It will definitely be worth it!

If you need any member of staff during the times when work is going on, on site please telephone, do not go near the construction site unless accompanied by a staff member.

If you part loan or have a livery kept with Lunebank please phone before attendance every time you come so we may keep you safe and inform you of where you mustn’t go.

If you are a livery or part loan client and you wish to use any of the facilities please check first that it will be safe to do so.

So...the building is soon to be delivered and erected onsite and my oh my what a huge building it is!!! The building will be put up and then we will be able to start on the inside of the equestrian centre. Below are pictures of the building which is built off site and it now needs to be delivered...at the moment lots of steel framework is in our contractors yard which is painted green in a number of locations around the place as there is so much of it. It has now been completely painted and is stored in addition to a huge pile of wood which is for the purlins to support the roof and Guy told us that what we see in the pictures is just half of it - the rest would not fit in his yard, also there is the yorkshire boarding of equal quantities - WOW it has to be seen to be believed, which is why we have taken lots of pictures which are posted below.

Hopefully we should not have anymore delays now and so we can now start to plan our new activities, many of which have already been or are soon to be added to our website, we are also hoping to have a big openday when the work is completed so watch this space...

...Please look at the plans and photos below and hey, you will be able to see why it has been worth waiting this long!
