Sunday 18th May 2010
We went to Valiats Horse and Pony Show and took Benson, Katz, Shamrock and Pretty Miss. All of whom were a credit to their riders:
Benson was ridden by Becky (one of our instructors)and came 4th in the coloured horse or pony class and was 2nd in the cob class.
Katz was ridden by Millie and was placed 1st in the Ridden Arab and another 1st in Equitation (narrowly beating Millie's big sister Nanci), Katz and Millie were also placed 2nd in the ridden veteran and 6th in the riding club horse. Millie was especially pleased as it was also Katz 21st birthday that day.
Nanci rode Shamrock and was placed 3rd in the Senior Working Hunter, 2nd in the senior open jumping , 2nd in the equitation and 4th in the Riding club horse. Nanci also rode Benson in the Riding Club pony (as Becky was out of age group )and was placed 3rd. Pretty Miss was ridden by Roisin and was a little star, she was 7th in the young handler and was 5th in bonny pony.
So a BIG well done to all those whom competed and gained lots and lots of Rosettes but most importantly had lots and lots of FUN!!!
Lecture Demos will be held from time to time for various disciplines by specialist trainers. Details of these will be posted on the website and details will also be available at other events. Times and Prices will vary depending upon each trainer.
