We Need Volunteers...

If you are interested in volunteering to help with LDRG please contact Jeannette on 07767 831095 or email lunebankrc@tiscali.co.uk

We will need all volunteers to become CRB checked at a current cost of £10 for volunteers (£64 from 2010 onwards when the CRB checking system is changing, although anyone having this new full disclosure will be acceptable across all industries) We require you to make a regular commitment (give or take a few weeks) and in return you will receive lots of training with both people and horses and will have lots of fun!!!

If you are not the horsey type we do also need volunteers to help with fundraising and organisation of events.

Christmas Carol Singing

In Aid of The North West Air Ambulance and The Lanquestrian Disabled Riders Group

Monday 21st December (weather permitting) starting at the Overton Memorial Hall Carpark at 6.15pm and going around Overton Village. We will have Father Christmas pulled in a carriage by our very own Rudolph and we will have lots of Ponies following, carolers will be singing so there will be fun for all and best of all we will be raising money for two very good causes.

The money raised for LDRG will be used to buy a mounting step and ramp to enable our disabled riders to both mount and dismount the horses and ponies. Eventually we hope we will be able to raise enough money in 2010 to purchase a hoist and other specialist equipment.
